How's your art project going. Make any new paintings? Haven't gone to any churches, recently, but I have gotten back into reading the Bible, my goal is to read the whole book by the end of the year.
I learned a cool thing here, which is preparing the canvas with gesso. But you can do it also on paper (although it works better on thicker paper). So I've been doing a lot of painted sketches of oil on prepared paper, it's faster and cheaper than painting on canvas. And I've been drawing too, there's lots of live modelling at the Accademia. But as for "real paintings", I mean, larger and on canvas and more refined, there's only one I've been working on. It takes a long time to do just one. Even some of the sketches take me days. I don't think I have a lot of talent, but I find the whole process of painting very enjoyable, so that's enough.

Art is one those things that take time and practice to et good. I'd love to see the work you been doing.
